Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms govern the provision of locksmith services by Southern Brisbane Locksmiths. By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to these terms.

Authority to access

Before we gain entry to a property or vehicle, or cut or replace keys, we take reasonable steps to confirm that you are authorised to request the work. We may ask for identification or other evidence of authority. We reserve the right to decline a job where we cannot reasonably verify authority.

Quotations and pricing

  • Where a quote is provided, it is based on the information available at the time. Additional work required due to unforeseen circumstances will be discussed with you before proceeding.
  • Call-out and after-hours fees may apply and will be disclosed when you book.
  • Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Non-destructive entry

We attempt non-destructive entry first. Where drilling or other destructive methods are the only viable option, we will explain why before proceeding. We are not liable for damage to locks or hardware that must be destructively opened as a necessary part of the service, though we will advise on replacement options.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to re-performing the service or, at our option, to the amount paid for the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. A call-out fee may apply where a locksmith has already been dispatched to your location.
